Brush-Baby’s inception can be traced back to the founder little girl’s curious habit of chewing her toothbrush. With a sister who is a dentist, founder Dominique Tillen was acutely aware of the significance of maintaining my baby girl’s gum and teeth health. She aimed to impart the notion that good oral hygiene, even enjoying visits to the dentist, could be a delightful and cool experience. However, tooth-brushing time often turned into a real struggle. Dominque’s daughter would either chew her toothbrush or resist it altogether. Faced with limited options at the stores, the idea of Brush-Baby – selling toothbrushes for babies and kids was born. Understanding that young children’s dentition undergoes significant development, from gums and teething to the first set of baby teeth and eventual replacement by adult teeth, Brush-Baby set out to create a range of kids toothbrush and kids toothpaste products tailored specifically for babies, toddlers, and young children. These childrens toothbrush, baby teething and kids toothpaste products take into consideration the nuances of tooth development, habits, and brushing skills unique to this age group. The ultimate aim is to contribute to providing the best start for our children’s oral health so that as they grow up, they can confidently flaunt the beautiful smiles they deserve. As a mother, Dominique recognised that young children’s oral health wasn’t receiving the attention it warranted. Dominique comments: “I firmly believed that my daughter and her peers deserved to grow up with the healthy smiles of tomorrow. Thus, Brush-Baby was established to provide them with that opportunity.” Operating from their office in Hampshire, UK, the Brush-Baby team tirelessly reaches out to parents, dentists, and businesses globally, offering childrens toothbrushes, kids toothpaste and innovative teething products designed to enhance children’s oral health. The thoughtful design of the Brush-Baby product range for babies and toddler toothbrushes aligns with the dental development, toothbrushing skills, and behaviors of babies, toddlers, and young children. Beyond product development, Brush-Baby actively engages with the UK Parliament, advocating for toothbrushing and oral health education in nurseries and schools.
